Our Coffee
We really mean it when we say, "Best Coffee in Texas-Bar None!" You may find coffee as good, but you won't find any better. To succeed in consistently providing the highest quality of coffee to our customers, Bar None Coffee Co. has partnered with the hardest working and most dedicated roaster in Texas, Cuvée Roasting Company. Cuvée works hard at searching out and acquiring the finest and most unique coffees the world has to offer. Working with growers that have perfect micro climates, meticulous farming and processing techniques sets the stage for Cuvée's roasting process. Cuvée's best single origin and estate coffees are roasted daily and delivered fresh every time.
Sustainable
Bar None Coffee Co. serves sustainable coffee. Sustainable coffee is produced on a farm with high biological diversity and low, or no chemical inputs. It conserves resources, protects the environment, produces efficiently, competes commercially and enhances the quality of life for farmers and society as a whole.
Sustainable coffee means paying a premium for high quality, specialty coffee that is grown in rich soil, shaded by trees and processed with the environment and conservation in mind. Having a positive impact in the coffee growing community and our own community is what it is all about. It is so much more than a label or certification. Some of the coffees that Bar None Coffee Co. serves will have certifications like Fair Trade, Shade Grown, Rainforest Alliance and Organic. If you would like to learn more, the SCAA has some good information on Sustainable Coffee.
Roasting Process

Our partner, Cuvée Coffee Roasting Company, roasts to order, in small batches, to its peak of flavor, what they call the "sweet spot." This is the point at which the coffee produces all of the flavor characteristics that make it special. Cuvée uses their knowledge and experience in the craft of roasting to hit the sweet spot of each coffee. Then they utilize state-of-the-art science and technology along with regimented cupping to ensure that result is achieved over and over again. Cuvée's coffees tend to be roasted lighter so you can experience all of those nuances that make it special. You taste the coffee, not the roast.
Brewing Process
In Italy, traditional espresso brewing is defined by four “M’s”:
1. “Miscela” is the coffee blend - a medium to dark roast
2. “Macinazione” is the correct grinding of a coffee blend
3. “Macchina” is the espresso machine
4. “Mano” is the hand of a skilled barista.
Cuvée Coffee Roasting Company provides us with the best Artisan Blends, Single Origin and Estate coffees.
